In most of the cases we prefer to use general anesthesia , although it can performed under local anesthesia.

Surgery is usually preformed as an outpatient or overnight stay and usually takes about  two to three hours.

Incisions are typically hidden in natural skin creases and in the hair. When performed by an experienced and meticulous plastic surgeon, facelift incisions usually heal very well and are inconspicuous.

Mild to moderate pain may occur, that can be controlled with usage of recommended drugs.

It is advisable to return to office work after one week of the surgery.

A facelift usually last 8 to 10 years. Some patients decide to have the procedure repeated , while others do not feel that they need another procedure.

As your swelling subsides, you will begin to notice that your facial skin and underlying muscle appear firmer, usually within weeks of your surgery. Be patient, however, as it can take months for the final results to emerge.
